The group of photographic images, titled "The Road to Chama" was automatically copyrighted by me on Tuesday, 31 October 2006, and reads, Copyright (c) Richard Boulware 2006.
It seems that a very angry person on another board is attempting to use the same words for an identical project.. He is in violation of federal copyright law. He has been notified.
I apologize to those who must read this, but I in turn, must inform all of what is going on.
In that 'famous fall' of 1970, some had snapshot cameras. There was one professional, Me! There were a few other of professional grade, shooting, like my dear friend Al Chione, and some others.
Our combined photography is about 95% of all the photographs taken I would guess.
I hope to start the first installment of "The Road to Chama" in about a week to ten days. Please be patient.
I will first publish a 'forward' to the project, letting you know what you are seeing, how it was shot, and for those with an interest in photography, the equipment I used...as well as up close and personal narration, as it happened, to give you all, a feeling of being there.
Mr. Wimer, DOES have a fine idea, and that is to establish a separate web site or a section of this one, strictly dedicated to that period of time when the C&TS was born. Time slips by and all of a sudden, we realize that these are now, valuable, historical images.
It would be nice to think there could be a nice historical repository for those images here at the NGDF.
Al Chione told me just two hours ago, that he thinks he might have at least 1000. That is imagery worth protecting,...and keeping for our children and grand children. Al is my dear friend...and a fine man...and fine photographer.
More later....
Respectfully, "Bo"
