I guess maybe the blue paint Bernd was worried about was buried underneath the rust when you were there. It's interesting that the coaches got paint whereas the steam engines look much worse now. The engine in your picture looks something like the well maintained 0-8-0 that the Swiss preservation group operates (and we used for a few runs), although the current engine has a diamond stack that the engine in your picture seems to lack.
