Twice?

Thanks, Coke:
This is news to me.
In addition to the newly installed second hand Lima domes, the C&S built a new steel cab, quite similar in dimension to those on engines 74-76.
It is my understanding the C&S rebuilt the engine after the wreck, but I'm not sure exactly when. The cab and domes were apparently completely destroyed in the 1928 wreck. If it was returned to service after that, and not rebuilt by the C&S shops, it must have been held together with baling wire and glue.
I do know the C&S leased the engine in September, 1930. Is it possible the 537 returned to the Black Hills for it's last curtain call looking much as we know her from the days on the C&S?
As I said, I have never heard before that 537 was returned to service in the Black Hills.
