Greg, I know that three on the front is an 'official' triple header, but the train I saw was the first time I had seen three engines on any train out of Chama at all!
I found my photos and it was on Sept 8, 2001. Can't read the car numbers well, but if pressed I could probably make educated guesses. Consist:

Probably pulled the 463 and freight cars off at Cumbres for return to Chama, but don't know if (or why) both other locos went on to Osier.
I think this train was just something the boys though would be fun to run.
Sure was an impressive sight, proto arrangement or not!
