As information, C&S fans take note!
The engine in question, H&H #4, was Colorado & Souther #39 sold to H&H June 1917 Built by Cooke #1480 in 1883. There is possible question that H&H #5 was traveling with #4. It was Colorado & Southern #45 until Sept., 1918, built by Cooke #1486 in 1883. C&S fans can weigh in here also with idea, or knowledge what justified paying a freight waybills to move engines west over Cumbres when rumor says they were destine to scrap.
