all tru
but
if fuel costs (ie oil) get high enough and coal comes in high enough demand the coal feilds along the line may be reopend and if that happens there is no way they will be able to ship it by truck
and as for all the towns along the right of way if they want to stay in existence they wil ethier pay to have rail put back or they will dry up and blow away because the statistics dont lie 1 ton 1 gallon of fuel by truck 25 miles, 1 ton 1 gallon of fuel by train is 140 miles and considering the mountainus terrain its probably closer to 20 miles by truck and 125 by train at those economies if desil gets to 7 to 10 bucks a gallon (will happen dont know when) it will no longer make any sense to truck farther than the next town
