I'm glad you enjoyed the GM book. It was fun. I enjoy research.
I have found updates to the book and am reprinting the photos on good photo paper in a 2007 calendar in case you are interested. The photos are reprinted in color of sharper B&W than in the book. The calendar also has specific dates with messages about what was happening to the main railroads in the book.
I'd love to do a Colorado or D&RGW calander with dates on it, but it got pushed off to the side. It's not forgotten - my 2006 D&RGW calander (used as a test bed for making calendars) has August 14, as the 1st revenue D&RG passenger train in 1871.
I used some detail photos of different Galloping Geese and a photo of Eureka.
