Re: Silverton Fireworks

This picture is entirely possible. The 473 is headed in the right direction relative to the shrine--the train sat on 12th street during the fireworks and the shrine is on about 11th street, and the fireworks would be about right as well. It was a spectacular show, and having a train in town was a nice touch--the one last year broke down before leaving the Animas Valley and never made it up here (using a diesel). I am wondering about the lack of any other lights, like street lights, and will wander down there in a few minutes to see if all the angles and view lines are right. A train is arriving at this moment, so it's a good time to check.
