Dave and Mike,
Many thanks for the help. I received the scan of the photo that Mike sent me. Based upon this photo and the fact that the line of rear line of rivets are visible, I am inclined to think that the MMI tender's rivets are correctly placed (except for lacking the rivets around the perimeter).
I still wish the original tanks were available to photograph, but I have heard nothing specific as to where they are or if they even still exist. If I do get some information on that, I will post it here. Thanks again for the assistance.
