Actually, I was thinking that some of the Ice might have been a commodity shipped out over the Railroad at one time. There were still large Ice harvesting operations shipping by rail at Buena Vista and in the Platte Canyon in the late 1920's and early 30's. There were also large Ice complexes in East Alamosa and just west of Gunnison on Railroad property. Of course the Buena Vista and Alamosa operations shipped by Standard Gauge.
