There was a turntable at Orient earlier, but in the 20s the D&RGW built a wye near the end of the branch. A Salida company build a stone quarry on the line and it generated some traffic even after CF&I stopped shipping iron ore. It has to be the most obscure branch on the D&RGW ng.
