Earl is right, the 47 tonners were built to be run on 3 different gauges. 36", 39-3/8"(meter) and 42". Of the 50+ units built only 8 were 36" the remainder were meter or 3'6". 15 and 19 are the only two left in this country. The Yucatan RR had 4 3' units they scrapped two and sold they remaining two further south. Don't know if those are still in existence. The other two 3' units were military and went out to the Pacific and most likely are lost. Probably would not be tough to change one of the larger gauge units to 3'. Pull the wheels and axles and reposition the wheels. John
