I always thought that a better place for the museum would have been in Grass Valley at the depot site considering it is still an open lot. Maybe one day if I am rich I will buy it for preservation. I don't see it being too difficult for atleast a good stretch of original track being rebuilt, Tourism is the big money maker up there after all. And the longer people stay the more $$ in the long run.
In my opinion it wouldn't feasibly to too hard to rebuild from Grass Valley to say Chicago Park or maybe to the edge of the lake.
But thats just me dreaming again!
