In talked to some of the crew tyhat had been stranded up there. They said it was a green crew that was sent up there after the rest of them got stranded and that they went thru a switch
without raising the flangers and derailed when they hit the frog.
They also said that they were doing all right.
They drained the engines and opened up a refrigerator car carrying meat and were existing
on a diet of steaks and trimmings and drawing
overtime pay until the RR spoiled the fun and sent a chopper after them.
I didn't make a record of who I talked to in the crew but sure wish I had.
