In a related subject, the Stone Creek Brick Co. of Stone Creek, Ohio, operated a 3' railroad until late 2004 or early 2005. This was also ran with 4 wheel cars with link & pin couplers. When I visited in Oct., 2004 it was still running. The plant closed soon afterwards, and when I went back again this past fall, the railroad and factory were both shut down. The railroad was still intact and a locomotive was still parked outside. The entrance to the mine was sealed off (this was an underground clay mine). I understand that the factory is currently up for sale, but I dont know its current statis. As of this time, I dont know the fate of the railroad or its equipment but the future looks very bleek.
