Aloha - a rumor is that the EPCo #7 "George F. Renton Jr." was side lined in the early 1940s, due to the war, a replacement boiler was not available. She may have been sold to a plantation in Guatemala, possiblly United Fruit. A picture of her can also be found in Conde's Sugar Train books for the 1970s (page 289. Any reports from down south of steamers still in Guatemala ?? EPCo #7, BLW 57851, built 1924, 37-12X18, 2-6-2 with tender.
