In "Silver San Juan", Mal Ferrel mentions (IIRC) that a specified number of drovers based on the number of head shipped were allowed passage on stock trains as part of the shipping contract. I imagine, if this was true on the RGS, it would likely be the same on the D&RGW. -- Ed
