I have to listen to your reply as I said I never ran the numbers. And you bring up a good point that the #9 Ohio guns where a bit large for her. But some how there were a lot of new spare parts around for the #9 Ohio guns and therefore they worked well.
I seem to remember trying to scab together a #7 and trying it on her but lack of good parts returned us to the number #9’s in fairly short order. With a little time & money we could have achieved this goal. We also desperately needed parts for the #7 on the left side of the OY.
