Most excellent John! Thanks for taking the time to write these detailed descriptions.
Between El Coke's K-class operating reminiscences and Fritz Klinke's digging through his old photos and sharing them with us, this has been a most enjoyable place to sit with a hot cup of coffee of late. Many thanks to both of you for taking the time.
Somewhere buried in one of my slide boxes I pretty sure that I have a nice shot of Mr Coker at the throttle of 463, but my film filing system still leaves something to be desired so I can't share that right now. Instead, to go along with John's story I'll offer up this shot of 463 in Chama on a gloomy afternoon.
There's just something about the lines of a K-27...
