We must remember that though #24 has been gone since 1937, she is still with us in the form of the numerous Roundhouse Engineering SR&RL #24 models that show up at almost every small scale steamup. We also must remember that gent in Wales that is in the process of building replicas of SR&RL 10 and 23.
The same must be said for much of the Welsh 600mm equipment that has survived, most notably Welsh Highland/North Wales Narrow Gauge Russell. He survived all odds after 1937. It is a pity indeed that #24 did not survive past 1937.
