Smitty my freind, no offence taken!! My motto is never get mad, get even....
I appreciate someone comming to my defense none the less.
It occurs to me that in the world of rr's crews be it on a volunteer level and from what I am told on the professional level jabbing/kidding one another can sometimes sound pretty vicious, though it is just the typical way some people communicate. This also occurs on construction sites in the bld. trades. When you mix folks who are used to these kind of gruff interchanges with polite people who are not accustomed to it, a little misunderstanding of what is going on can easily happen. Case in point, I was with an electrical contractor freind of mine who is a mild mannered gentleman on a construction site we have both been working on at various stages. A carpenter "freind" of his remarked to him quite loudly for all to hear as we walked by "hello Butt Ugly". My freind had a similar retort for him. Around this rr stuff ya sometimes gotta be a little thick skinned.
