That's too bad. Perhaps next time it can be scheduled just before, or just after D&S Railfest so that the events compliment each other. Perhaps if it were right after Railfest some cross promotion could bring extra folks over to Chama to "extend their buzz" or vice versa.
It would also give me a better opportunity to support Chama Steam and get to see those historic turns recreated, as I am usually tied down to Railfest myself.
IMHO the CATS and D&S are complimentary railroads, and experiences, and events on each should also complement, not go head to head.
Looking forward to being in Chama the 22nd and 23rd for the motorcar run.
