Unfortunately, Knotts scrapped the superheater header and super heaters, so it would be expensive to replace them. Unlike the C&TS, the Huckleberry is mostly flat, so the loss of power isn't really a factor. Their other engine, the #2 has around 16,000 lbs TE, so the 464 has more than enough power. If it uses more water, they stop by the village water tank every 8 miles, so that's not a big deal either. Still, it's too bad about the headers being scrapped!
