The box car at OERM at Perris, Calif. is reportedly built in the Seattle shops of the related standard gauge Pacific Coast RR.
The four passenger cars were three coaches and one baggage car; all built by Hammond. Two of the coaches (#102 & 103) went into parlor car service right-away in 1938-39 while the third (#105)was in MW service for a number of years prior to becoming a parlor in 1948. The numbers of the parlor cars (now back to coaches) are 258, 260 and 262. The baggage car #201 became #207 in 1938 and the became parlor car (now coach) #270 in 1967.
