Hello Ed, Scott, et al -
Well, I must have done SOMETHING right over the years - the following lines are right off an unsolicited post to her Blog site by my 21-year-old whippersnapper:
"Sunday, July 03, 2005
How I'll be spending my July 3rd."
"Steam Engine the Fillmore and Western Sespe wood burning Steam Engine" [link below]
"My dad and I get to play with a choo-choo today! Okay, HE gets to play. I get to hang out and relive my childhood.
" /> "
.
Actually, I tinkered with the safety valve - adding an exhaust pipe so it won't fill the cab with steam when it pops off (the steam dome and safety are inside the cab) - and Cindy DID get to play: she polished the handrails!

p.s. Don't tell Greg, but the saddle tank used to be Maroon (Somebody grabbed the wrong can of paint when they rebuilt the tank last year. Honest!) ... And no, Roj, this is NOT a pilot project for the 483 rebuild!!
