Hi, Scott -
Pricey is right! I had ordered a Nikon CoolScan ($2000) that could handle my 6x7s as well as 35mm, but I'm glad it was back-ordered and I got the much more versatile Canon instead ($400). I can even steal shots from Ernie's book and copy my mom's 8x10 drawings (which pleases her no end).
Of course if we were working on a book instead of a screen saver, things would be different.
Cindy and I had fun tinkering with F&W's One-Spot and polished the handrails on Sunday. SHE found the link below and posted it on her Blog site! At only ten tons, and 114 years old, the wood-burning Sespe is honorary narrow gauge - even if she does measure 56.5" wide just outside the flanges.
- Russ
p.s. At only 53, you are a mere whippersnapper! And BTW, puns are unsitely on the NGDF ...
