Didn't the part of the spur behind the rodeo grounds stay in until abandonment in 1970? I recall walking around there once and seeing ties still in the ground. If it was around that late, what was it's purpose? Was there another mill in that area?
If you stand at current C&TS end of track looking west, you can detect the TAS right of way curving off to the south. The switch was about 50-100 east of the current end of track.
There is a road south of Chama that goes west from the highway to what was once called Oso Lodge. Where this road crosses the Chama River, the TAS right of way is very visible coming from the north.
