No idea when the 70 was converted, but it spent its final years on the White Pass & Yukon Route during WW II as property of the U.S. Army who leased the White Pass for the duration to aid in building the AlCan Highway.
It was shipped out to Seattle from Skagway at the war's end and scrapped there along with the 69.
