Don't forget the lubricating oils made today are more environmentally friendly today than they were back before the EPA came into existence. They had lead to help lubricate not to mention maybe mercury. If you can still find a barrel of the old steam cylinder oil, Tallo (sp) based, consider yourself lucky.
