Hey John, great post, and I also want to say I really enjoy SteamCentral. Now don't everyone beat me up, but do I understand that because it is a federal regulation the RGRPC is hoping to not have to spent their own funds on the boiler work to bring them into compliance but to request help in the funding? If that is indeed the case, and you can pull it off, (it seems to be reasonable and appropriate) what about the other 4 boilers that the railroad owns? Could this be a real boost to get the eventual restoration of the 483,492,494,& 495? Let the commision attain funding for the boiler work, and RGRPC cover the rest of the work. Wow, Flowers fund here we come!
