Sam, I confess I haven't followed the EDA saga very closely. But allowing for a faulty memory, I think our current funding will allow us to work full-steam-ahead well into next season. EDA timetables are also somewhat freer, and we can apply to two different EDA districts, further confusing me. When the Commission applies for the next EDA grant, matching funds will be needed.
Thanks for the compliments. Hard to believe I turned my first wrench on a steam locomotive over 20 years ago - it seems like yesterday. The new regs were put together by some very bright people - Bill Withuhn, Dave Conrad, Steve Lee, Bob Yuill, and Steve Jackson of the D&SNGRR, among others. In the long run we will be better off under them - it's the short-term hump that's the challenge.
