Jerry is very busy this day, doing just that. They expect to get the Austin St. crossing in today, and at least one length of track in front of the depot. Thanks to the SVRR crew, especially Jerry this work is getting done, and we will be off-loading passengers at the new depot this season.
Jerry does SO MUCH for the rr, and he does it all as a volunteer (a situation we at the board level want to change) and words are shallow in trying to express my gratitude for his taking on the chore of “herding cats" our volunteers.....From the point of view when I was President of the rr, I can tell you that Jerry's has made that job far easier, and things have gotten done mostly because of his dedication and committment to the rr.
So to you Jerry, I publicly thank you big time for everything that you do for the SVRR.
