I just finished reading the section on the Perins Peak branch and was wondering what the access is like these days. Anyone know how much of this is private vs public land? Ray talks about a road that was open until the early 80s but that is as recent as it gets. I pulled up the aerial photos and was able to see most of the grade in these more recent photos. It would make for a very interesting hike if on public lands. I might be up that way in June looking for a new place to explore.
Thank you George and Ray for the interesting chapter. Now I know another RGS author that hangs out here.
