Looks to me like either the door is a complete replacement or has had a window cut into it. Maybe I'm wrong here, but the shape of the window looks strange. Given what condition these cars were in when retired in 55, and then I believe they were part of a building somewhere near Gunnison, the doors probably needed to be replaced to be useable. I don't remember what they looked like on quasi-sister 123 at Grand Junction unfortunately.
