Ted,
Actuall, according to the posted information, the 3' gauge 2-6-0 was a Baldwin Built locomotive that was obtained from Mexico by steam locomotive "Specialist" Gary Bengsman (sp). He said that he chose this locomotive becase it most closely represented a DSP&P locomotive. I guess that I should add that ala of the original DSP&P 2-6-0's were Cookes.
Because it was to be painted DSP&P and housed in a buiding, the throat sheet and the flues were completely removed, as was the petticoat and blower, ostensibly so the foundation of the building could handle the weight. I saw it once, it was nicely painted but nothing more than a big park engine inside a Frisco Trinket shop.
The loco was sold and moved out, I don't know where. It would take cubic bucks to get it operating again.
I wonder about D&RGW "Coach" 120, though. 120 is in the Baggage Car Numbering series, and the baggage cars didn't have windows on the doors. I wonder if this is where the ends of that C&S car that was sold at the Sundown and Southern auction went.
