Guys,
Isn't this the place where they had the engine from Peru?
If I recall it was a 2-6-0 built for export and the frame and not much else ended up back in this country owned by the Illinois Railway Museum. The store had it restored and there was an article in the original Loco & Railway Preservation about the project. Lot of discussion aboiut facadism!
The engine was later sold to some one in Worthington,Minesota for display at the Prarie Expo museum in 2000 I think.
