Work on the 346 is proceeding, albeit slowly, and the hope is she'll be ready for (no promises, no guarantees, folks) the December 2005 Santa Train. Machining work is being performed, and grates need to be cast, but there is still lots to do.
I don't have any up-to-date info on the 318, but I'll see if I can dig some up.
