Well put.
I don't know if he would have drawings of B-7, but Bill Peters has done some CAD drawings with
field measurements. You can find contact info.
for him in the Narrow Gauge Gazzette under PBL.
If he doesn't have the drawing, he may be able to
point you in the right direction.
There's a restoration project going on with the
B-7. Maybe there's something that the D&S guys have that would work.
