Hi Guys,
I rode it in June 2002. The railroad is four miles of track on mostly former sugar plantation R-O-W. The 45 ton diesel was the motive power since the steamers were out of service. One of them was due back in service in a few months back then. They have one EBT steel hopper out there and the NG tank car along with other interesting equipment at the car shops whch the train loops around. Since most of their busniess is tourists and many come from Japan, the speaker system palyed japaneese musis for the entire ride with no historic narration. It was nece to see the trian run, but I was actually disapointed with my ride except for going around the car shops. The locomotive turns on a turntable next tot he depot at the south end of the line. There is a nice wood pile trestle about midway on the line along side a golf course.
