An answer to your question (and it sounds like an interesting location anyway) might by the Egyptian National Railways Museum in Cairo. The link below will show you where in Cairo it is found.
The three steam locomotives in the collection are standard guage, and date back to 1862 and 1866. If your interest is in steam in general, steamships can be found along the Nile River in Cairo, Pictures of them all for my "Surviving World Steam" Project are welcomed. <img class=" />
