All of the above for sure. I personally like the D&S and C&TS equally and for different reasons. D&S is gorgeous scenery and a class act all around with first class accommodations. C&TS is rustic railroading at it's finest. If you are taking fussy females, go D&S.
There are two standard gauge jewels that can be done in back to back days in Arizona. John Coker mentioned one, the Verde Canyon Railway. I agree with all he said. The other is the Grand Canyon Railway out of Williams. Super operation, classy equipment (especially if you opt for first class), world class destination and great accommodations. Alco FA's in the winter and steam in the summer. Either way you can't go wrong. Excellent packages available.
GC and Verde canyon are driving distance from each other and Sedona is in between. Doesn't get much better than that for a weekend getaway.
