So far it still sounds to me like they don't really have a plan! I know WP&Y Mike meant it in a different way but this whole "rose colored glasses" spin that the CHS keeps trying to sell us can be summed up very succinctly as "Loop Poop"!
They are still negotiating for three more steam engines and then they list a steam engine and two diesels? I note that they still are listing both #9 and #74/30 as going to be under steam on the Loop......
What I find interesting (but not particularly funny) is that the CHS, having alienated a large portion of the railfan community, has decided to ignore said community and go it alone. Even with the best intentions and admittedly experienced people like Peter Gores this will not be as easy to pull off as the CHS would like us to believe!
How much longer do they think they can keep up spouting this rosy scenario before it becomes apparent to everybody that it's simply not going to work? What happens then? "Loop Poop" indeed!
