According to notes in the SVRy car accounts, SVRy 101/DRGW 50 made it's last official run after over 24 years of service on Nov. 28, 1961. The notes say it remained at Baker till 12-04-63, so presumably it made it's debut in Durango shortly after. However, I think someone posted a photo of it undergoing an overhaul at Alamosa. Not sure of the date of this, but perhaps this was before it went into service in Durango.
