Just for the sake of discussion Mr. Wimer, why not share the facts with the rest of us so that we all know what happened? I have read the letters posted at the Goat and the several responses. What do you know that the rest of us do not know?
What seems apparent is that the managment of the RR made promises and gave hope to people and then failed to come through on those promises. The result is that financial harm was done to the people/workers in question.
The incident in question does not mean the end of the managment's tenure nor is it the end of the world for the workers. So what are the facts about this situation that you possess that no one else seems able to get a grip on? It seems a bit of a turn around that you are now defending the managment. Your posts have been very critical of managment in the past.
