The only time I saw the operqtion was one nice summer day when Dave Peterson and I went over to have a look. At the scheduled arrival time back in Rockwood, what came out of the canon? 476 and 2 cars. They turned on the wye, waited for the morning parade to pass and took off again. Dave wanted to go for a ride, but I was in my "I don't PAY to ride this" stage. Yeah I know. arrogant, stuck up, SOB. Dave should have hit me over the head, ponied up the $$$ thrown me on. It would have been a lot of fun. I heard there were some pretty wild rides through the canon on the "Steambus".
