As observed a few years ago, along the level tangent with excellent truck access, north of the depot, is the ballast stockpile and new rail stockpile. Didn't see ties. Believe I remember seeing OTM.
Page 40, Canadian Subdivision, NRT #7, shows the "Track out of service" north of the depot. It is in good shape the length of this rather long materials yard.
Once upon a time the railroad operated sternwheelers on the two lakes that are connected by a short natural waterway at Carcross. After retirement of the sternwheelers, the drawbridge was augmented by steel piling at the panel points.
A stern-wheeler was retired to dryland nearby.
Later burned.
Robinson, the station 11.5 miles north of Carcross was the retirement farm of the railroad's construction superintendent. Now a provincial park; worth visiting.
NRT #7 shows no "Turning Facility or Wye". I suggest that readers visiting this gem watch for such facilities and report to Rob.
