The summer of 1980, I spent a couple of hours in and around the Carcross Hotel eating lunch there and waiting for the train to come through town for photo purposes. In the loby of the hotel there were three Indians very drunk trying to shoot pool and puting on a good show. The one thing that I noticed about the town of Carcross was the there was at least one church to every bar in town and there was at least a dozen bars of sorts there that summer.
