Hopefully Tom Shreve will make a comment here in the next couple of days. The "speil" on the train early in the season last year was the Climax was to begin restoration with completion in 9 years? or so. Tom has been collecting and documenting information for years and a plan is being devised.
Personally I would rather see the #6 restored. With its enclosed wooden cab it would be a nice little winter lokie.
Of course they have their hands full just keeping the rest of the motive power and rolling stock in operation.
