The Ulrich's built 463 about 1976. It was built for an individual in the Phoenix area. It spent a few years at the 15" Paradise & Pacific RR which is owned by the City of Scottsdale AZ. It left sometime around 1978-79 when various issues involving insurance, etc could not be resolved. It moved back to Ulrich's. Later the owner died. I'm not sure who owns it right now.
The P&P has 3 other locomotives all built by Wm Daney or made from his engines: #11 2-8-2 rebuilt from a 2-8-0, #12 2-6-2 rebuilt from a 3" scale 4-6-2, #10 4-6-0. In addition they have a couple of internal combustion locomotives.
