This sounds like a neat idea. I can picture the tunnel Durango Wal-Mart will have to build through the produce section already. I did find a picture I took of an east bound train approaching US 160 at about this point, so the tunnel may actually be a huge trestle spanning the now sunken parking lot. This could be quite an engineering feat. Or make Wal-Mart into an inter-modal facility and make the main station there, as I bet Wal-Mart type of shoppers are in reality gamblers. Low stake ones though, but all Colorado allows are $5 maximum bets anyway. And more gambling taxes for CHS to support the Loop--what a deal!
